Core Gameplay
Gravity Splice: Citrus Storm focuses on a single mechanic: slicing lemons, limes, oranges, and grapefruits as they fall in clusters. Your tool is a continuous line that follows your finger; any fruit touched by the line is sliced. The challenge is to slice all fruits in a cluster with one continuous motion to earn combo points. The level ends when you miss a target number of fruits (three for easy levels, one for hard levels).
Levels & Content Design
There are 290 levels divided into “zest” stages, “juice” stages, and “rind” stages. Each stage introduces new patterns—spirals, bursts, or wave formations. The final twenty levels include citrus fruits that split into smaller pieces after one slice, requiring a second cut. The content is fixed; no ongoing updates are provided, but the base package offers substantial variety.
Visuals & Experience
Visuals use bright, energetic yellows and greens with subtle lens flare effects. Each slice leaves a temporary trail that fades elegantly. The frame rate is capped at 30 or 60 fps based on device capability to ensure stable performance. Sound effects include a crisp “splash” for each successful slice, with volume controls independent of system settings.
Key Features
A reticle assist option displays a faint guide line showing your last swipe direction—useful for planning. A daily streak counter tracks consecutive days you complete at least one level, but no external rewards are attached. Offline mode stores all progress. The game does not include any form of in-app purchase or advertising.
