Core Gameplay
Berry Gravity Stream: Riverbank Mix presents a riverside setting where wild berries – elderberries, rowanberries, hawthorn berries, and sloes – fall from overhanging branches. Your blade follows your finger; berries are small and fast. The objective is to survive a “stream” of falling berries for 75 seconds without exceeding four misses. The stream’s flow rate increases every 15 seconds, simulating a rising river current.
Levels & Content Design
There are 260 levels across six river sections (upstream to estuary). Each section has a different starting flow rate. Difficulty increases through flow acceleration and berry density. The level set is fixed after purchase; no future updates are scheduled. A flow chart shows your best survival times.
Visuals & Experience
The art style uses calming blues and greens with a gently flowing river background. Berries have subtle red and black hues. Slice animations produce a tiny water ripple and a soft plop sound. Performance is stable; a “flow reduction” option simplifies current calculations for older devices. The interface shows flow rate as a horizontal meter.
Key Features
A “eddy” power-up (collect from a floating leaf) pauses flow acceleration for ten seconds. A warning flash occurs when flow rate exceeds 80% of maximum. Offline mode is fully supported. No online features. An accessibility option reduces default flow rate.
User Value
Players may find this game a calming yet gradually challenging activity. The rising flow rate provides a gentle difficulty curve. No therapeutic claims are made.
Usage Scenarios
Suitable for quiet evenings, during a break from reading, or as a low-intensity activity before a nap. The river theme and sounds may suit relaxation contexts.
