Core Gameplay
Gravity Slice Orchard: Pear Cascade focuses on a single fruit type (pears) with three colour variations. You control a virtual blade by swiping across the screen; any pear touched by the swipe path is sliced. The goal is to slice a specific number of pears before five of them reach the ground. As you progress, pears begin to fall in groups, and some rotate, requiring angled slices for efficient cutting.
Levels & Content Design
There are 255 levels divided into “green pear,” “golden pear,” and “red pear” chapters. Each chapter adds a new gravity pattern: standard, slow, and variable (gravity changes mid-fall). The difficulty increases through fall speed and group size. The level list is fixed after purchase. A completion star system awards one to three stars based on slices-per-minute.
Visuals & Experience
The visual theme uses natural greens and golds with a soft-focus background of pear trees. The user interface is minimal, with large touch zones suitable for thumb play. Slice feedback includes a subtle “crunch” sound and a brief split sprite. Performance is optimised for consistent 60 frames per second on recent devices, with a battery-saving mode available.
Key Features
A “focus pause” ability (once per level) freezes all falling pears for 1.5 seconds, activated by a button on screen. A streak counter shows consecutive slices without missing. Offline mode stores all progress locally. No advertising or data collection is present. A simple local backup function exports save data to a file.
User Value
This game offers a focused, repetitive activity that may help with short-term concentration. It is designed as a casual pastime without pressure. No health or developmental claims are made.
Usage Scenarios
Ideal for short train journeys, while waiting for a friend, or as a five-minute diversion during a break from reading. The level-based structure allows for easy stopping and resuming.
